How to order products:
We offer two types of products, namely, medication for which a prescription is required and over 5,000
products for which a prescription is not required.
Prescription Products
Prescription products are tightly controlled by Federal and Provincial regulations and may not be
sold without a valid prescription. Pharmacy.ca is required to keep complete patient records and that
is why we must ask you to register with us. Since we honour most drug plans, we also need to obtain
information on your insurance carrier.
The information you submit to us is only kept on the web server for a very short period of time
and then transferred to our patient record's computer in our licensed pharmacy.
The only information that we keep on the server is your email address and password.
This is used to verify that you have registered with us. We value your right to privacy.
Since we keep none of your personal information on the web server, we may ask for information you
have previously submitted to us. At times this may be annoying but it is done to protect your privacy.
Once you have registered, you can send us instructions about your prescription medicines by clicking
on the "prescription" tab. You will be asked to enter your email address and the password you
selected at the time of registration. You will then see a page on which you can enter your
instructions to the pharmacist.
The Shopping Cart
To begin shopping, simply click the category and subcategory of interest. Select the product you want
and it will be put into your shopping basket. To view your order, click "view order" on the left-hand menu.
When you are finished shopping, click "check out". At this time you will see the total cost of your order.
Products to which Federal Goods and Services taxes apply are shown separately from non-taxable items.
Fill in your name and address and method of payment. The purchased items should arrive in two to three
business days for most addresses in Ontario.
Quick Search
This search engine is designed to locate products for which no prescription is required.
If you wish to locate a prescription product, click the "drug cost calculator" on the left- hand side bar
or the home page.
