Custom Prepared Medicines
We custom prepare medications in our pharmacy using a unique patented encapsulation device. We can encapsulate most medications in any strength and in any amount. Customized encapsulation is used to prepare medications:
1. In the exact strength you need
2. Free from additives to which you may be sensitive
3. Not commercially available
4. To save you money
Exact Strength
Most drugs are mass produced and come in one or two strengths. But you are unique and not the result of mass production. Your illness may not fit into a one-size-fits-all world. No longer do you have to take a 50 mg tablet or capsule because that's how it comes! We can prepare capsules in any strength such as 45, 40, 35, 20 or even 5 mg. Exact Script ® Service can give you complete control over the strength that best suits you.
Additive Free
In addition to the active ingredient, a tablet or a capsule is made up of many non-medicinal ingredients. These are usually added to assist in the manufacturing process. Some people are sensitive to non medicinal ingredients such as dyes and lactose. We are able to prepared medications without the ingredient to which you may be sensitive.
Not Commercially available
Over the past few years, with an increased emphasis on cost reductions, pharmaceutical manufacturers have discontinued many of their smaller product lines. We will custom prepare medications for you that are no longer available from the manufacturer.
Saving You Money
Some medications never attract generic competition even though the patent
has expired. In these cases there is no pressure to lower prices even though
the cost of the active ingredient may be very low relative to the
manufacturer's selling price. In these circumstances we can usually prepare
medications at a savings to our patients. Our Exact Script ® Service permits
us to prepare your medication and pass the savings on to you. If you have
